Block Island-Great Salt Pond Jetty Directions This discusion applies to BI in general. Take a boat, either Small (yours), or Large (public ferry) to BI; dock or moor, as you see fit. If you bring a car it will be easier to get around, but that will be $108.60 for an SUV and $17.40 each for the driver and passangers. Taxi's are plentiful.

Once you get there, sail off Scotch beach, surfer beach or Mansion Beach, Black Rock, Coast Guard Beach, ect.
