a 29.9 inch trough will cross lake superior tonight. the trough 
moves over the ontario/quebec line late monday as a 30.4 inch high 
moves south from lake winnipeg. this high settles south over the 
upper mississippi river valley and plains through wednesday ahead of 
a 29.7 inch low moving into manitoba by thursday morning. this 
quickly tracks through the great lakes thursday evening through 
friday morning followed by ridging of at least 30.3 inches by friday 
night.
