...winter weather advisory in effect until noon...

snow will continue to fall through 830 a.m. and will increase in
intensity. snowfall rates will be around an inch per hour which
will reduce visibilities to one mile or less. southeast winds will
continue to gust over 20 mph creating some blowing and drifting 
snow. expected another 1 to 3 inches of snow between 630 a.m. and 
9 a.m. roads will be snow covered and hazardous. if you must 
travel this morning, reduce your speed and allow plenty of extra 
time to reach your destination.

...hazardous travel conditions expected today due to snow and
blowing and drifting snow...

poor travel conditions are expected today as snow continues 
across the area. a brief period of freezing drizzle is possible 
early this morning, mainly across central and east central 

look for periods of light to moderate snow through the morning. a
brief period of heavy snow is possible as well. the snow will end
from southwest to northeast starting late this morning and early 
afternoon. west winds will begin to increase as the snow ends. 
blowing and drifting snow is likely during the afternoon and 
evening hours, reducing visibility at times, especially in open 
areas across central and east-central wisconsin.

be sure to use extra caution if traveling, and allow for extra 
time to reach your destination.
