.synopsis...central lake huron centered low pressure system will
continue to advance southeast...with it and its associated cold
front crossing lake huron and lake st. clair this evening. winds
will continue to veer northwest after frontal passage...with winds
further veering to north and northeast later tonight and tuesday.
high pressure will then build into the region tuesday night and last
through the end of the work week...bringing an extended period of
dry weather and mainly light winds.

.synopsis...low pressure averaging 29.7 inches near northern lake
huron will continue to move east tonight...reaching lake ontario
by tuesday morning. weak high pressure of 30.1 inches trailing
this low will slowly strengthen to 30.4 inches as it moves across
ontario and into quebec by tuesday night. a ridge axis averaging
30.3 inches will extend southwest from this high across the
western lakes tuesday through much of the remainder of the work

lake ontario tonight through tuesday morning...expect a broad high
pressure ridge of 30.1 inches to stretch from manitoba to the
central plains. this high will build to 30.3 inches as it stretches
from quebec to the upper great lakes by tuesday afternoon. the ridge
over lake superior will remain nearly stationary through wednesday
as the main area of high pressure builds to 30.5 inches over quebec.
expect the ridge over lake superior to weaken to 30.0 inches by
friday while low pressure of 29.4 inches slowly moves from the mid
atlantic coast toward nova scotia. this low will deepen to 30.2
inches as it shifts eastward to hudson bay on saturday...placing a
trough of 29.8 inches over lake superior.
