low pressure around 29.7 inches is making its way across the 
southern half of lake michigan this morning. as the low continues 
to push east-northeast, it will deepen to around 29.6 inches 
through the day. this will result in increasing north-
northwesterly winds to around 20 to 30 knots later this morning 
and continue into the evening. winds will then weaken a bit 
overnight before another area of low pressure around 29.7 inches 
tracks southeast through the region saturday afternoon and night. 
this is expected to bring another round of gusty northerly winds 
behind the low for sunday.
