hazardous weather...
* areas of frost have developed along with patchy hard freeze
conditions over much of northern lower michigan...as
temperatures have crashed into the 25 to 32 degree range. the
coldest temperatures were in the lowest lying areas away from
the great lakes.

* cold temperatures may damage or kill sensitive vegetation if
proper precautions are not taken.

southeast michigan will set the stage for a cold night...as
temperatures are expected to drop into the 30s to around 40

* the coldest readings will be across central lower michigan
where readings will drop to around the freezing mark yet this
morning.

susceptible to a frost early this morning if left unprotected.

* a frost advisory is issued when frost is expected to develop
during the growing season. those with agricultural interests
