continues to extend from the upper peninsula of michigan 
southeast into the eastern great lakes today. winds across lake 
michigan are variable across northern portions, but are more 
westerly across south portions. as the surface low meanders 
around the great lakes region through the first half of the week,
winds across the lake will be more south and westerly into 
tuesday. then as the low slowly pushes east more northerly flow 
will develop across the lake through the second half of the week.
