lakes early wednesday. the associated cold front will sweep 
across lake erie wednesday afternoon and early evening. a weak 
surface low 29.90 inches will move east across lake erie thursday 
evening. high pressure 30.50 inches from the plains states will 
cross the ohio valley friday and move to the carolinas by 
saturday.

wake of the low pressure system. high pressure will then build into 
the region from thursday into friday.

is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.synopsis...low pressure of 29.6 inches over the central plains 
will reach southern lake michigan at 29.4 inches this 
evening...and then reach the central great lakes by midday 
wednesday. this low will then deepen to 28.9 inches over new 
brunswick early thursday morning. a weak low averaging 30.1 inches
will pass south of the lake thursday evening. high pressure ridge
of 30.6 inches will spread over the western great lakes friday 
and then continue to the eastern great lakes friday night into 
saturday...while low pressure of 29.5 inches lifts northeast to 
manitoba and ontario saturday night.
