high pressure of 30.30 inches builds east across the great lakes
tonight through saturday night. this high pressure area will 
remain just northeast of the region into sunday night as low 
pressure of 29.50 inches develops over the ozarks. this low will 
move northeast into the lower ohio valley monday afternoon and 
upper ohio valley by tuesday morning. the surface low will move 
off the mid- atlantic coast by wednesday morning as high pressure
of 30.60 inches persists over northern ontario.

ohio river valley late monday, leading to increasing east-
northeast winds.

is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.synopsis... 

high pressure of 30.4 inches over central iowa will push southeast
into northern illinois tonight and then northern indiana on
saturday. gusty northwest winds will gradually weaken with time. 
winds will become southerly and then southeasterly on saturday and
saturday night as that high pushes southeast of the lake, and a 
weak surface low of 29.8 inches moves across the area. winds will 
then turn northerly as this system pushes out sunday.

monday and tuesday, a 29.4 inch low moves south of the great lakes
over the ohio river valley. northeast gales will be possible over
the south half of lake michigan as the system passes to our south.
