...patchy dense fog will continue through mid morning...

areas of fog will continue across much of the region through mid
morning with varying visibility. the fog will be most dense along
the lake erie shore including the buffalo metro area, and also
across higher terrain. visibility will be reduced to less than a
quarter mile in some locations.

...patch dense fog early this morning...

patchy dense fog has formed across portions of eastern 
pennsylvania and northern delaware early this morning. visibility 
in dense fog could be reduced to 1/4 mile at times.

if traveling early this morning, be prepared for rapidly changing
visibilities, use low beam headlights and reduce your speed. also
keep a safe distance between you and other vehicles.

the fog should lift by 9 am.
