1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.6 inch area of high pressure stretching from 
saskatchewan to ontario canada will push towards the great lakes 
today. a 29.4 inch low will track across the tennessee valley today 
and the virginias tonight, and then across cape cod on sunday. a 
30.4 inch area of high pressure will then push across the lake 
later monday and monday night, then on into new england tuesday. a
29.5 inch area of low pressure will cut across the great lakes 
wednesday and into southern ontario canada, while dragging a cold 
front to near lake ontario. a surface wave will form on this front
across the southeast, and deepen and advance northward wednesday 
night.

by evening. this will take a cold front across lake erie early
wednesday.
