Waves Overview

The rental site provides excellent sailing from all directions except east. The sound in this area is shallow, and it is possible to make reef runs.

Shallow water great for learning.
Great site for all skill levels depending on wind speed and direction.

The site is in Waves, on the right side of Route 12, the only road in town. Look for the new rental location and shop on the water behind the Dairy Queen(old Emily's Restaurant).

The sensor is located on top of the Hatteras Island Sail Shop rental on the water at the old Emily's Restaurant in Waves.
