PT Point is a low promontory on Lakes Bay, used as a launchpoint for kiters. It is situated just off Route 40 (Black Horse Pike) in West Atlantic City, 1/4 mile east of the Hampton Inn, a favorite haunt of windsurfers.
The kiters launch from a (very) small beach on the west facing base of the promontory while windsurfers launch from the Hampton Inn boardwalk. This makes for a close yet comfortable sailing and social relationship between them.
