Vineyard Haven Overview
The sensor is located at the top of a 30 foot pole at the Lagoon Pond launch ramp along the causway separating Lagoon Pond from outer Vineyard Haven harbor. The nearest high land is almost a half mile away. The beaches on either side of the ramp provide easy acess to shallow water in Lagoon Pond. Access to the outer harbor can be had several hundred yards to the southwest across the street from Winds-Up or several hundred yards north east at East Beach where there is more parking.
