Thinking about joining some friends in Baja for Thanksgiving - anyone have any spots on the East part of lower Baja they've sailed? How's the wind that far south in fall?
Sailed Los Barriles some years ago, which was fun (apart from flying fish); can't remember how to get there now.
Punta San Carlos would be great, but the wife doesn't want to!

Hi,
Check out the iwindsurf.com Baja Guide at:

You can also e-mail me at mike@windsurf.com for details
In a nut shell Cabo Pulmo has the best breaking swell on the East Cape when there are El Norte winds. However there is really no local thermal wind so between El Norte winds there can be long spells with little wind compared to La Ventana or Los Barriles.
