.synopsis...

a broad 30.0 inch high pressure ridge is extending across lake 
superior, northern ontario, and manitoba this evening. this high 
maintains its strength and only slowly drifts east through tuesday 
evening. tuesday night into wednesday, a 29.9 inch low moves into 
the great lakes region from the southwest, though 30.0 inch ridging 
continues over lake superior until thursday morning. a low pressure 
moving into hudson bay thursday night is expected to bring a trough 
to the western extent of lake superior friday into next weekend.
