a ridge averaging 30.1 inches builds from the upper great lakes 
today. a warm front should sweep northeastward across lake ontario 
tonight through saturday morning as the ridge exits toward new 
england and a 29.7 inch low moves eastward across the northwestern 
great lakes. later on saturday, a cold front should move eastward 
across lake ontario as the low moves farther eastward toward 
southern quebec. behind the low and cold front, a 29.9 inch ridge 
should slide southeastward across the great lakes through monday. a 
warm front should sweep northeastward across lake ontario monday 
night and a cold front should sweep eastward across the lake on 
tuesday as a 29.5 inch low moves eastward across northern ontario 
and northern quebec.
