1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.6 inch low will move from quebec to the canadian 
maritimes through friday. a series of cold fronts will move through 
the lower great lakes, with the final arctic front crossing the lake 
on friday. a strong 30.9 inch high will then build from the northern 
plains friday to the great lakes saturday, then northern new england 
by sunday. a 29.7 inch low over the southeast united states sunday 
morning will move to the mid atlantic sunday afternoon, then off the 
new england coast monday while deepening to 29.2 inches.

.tonight...west gales to 40 knots diminishing to 35 knots. lake
effect snow. waves 13 to 18 feet subsiding to 12 to 16 feet.

.friday...west gales to 40 knots diminishing to 35 knots. lake
effect snow. waves 14 to 19 feet. waves occasionally around
24 feet. 
.friday night...northwest gales to 35 knots diminishing to 15 to
25 knots overnight. lake effect snow showers in the evening, then
