1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...
high pressure will continue to exit eastward today before a warm 
front drifts northeastward across lake ontario this evening and is 
followed by a cold frontal passage tonight. behind the cold front, a 
trough averaging 29.8 inches should linger over lake ontario through 
monday. a 30.0 inch high will build from the upper midwest monday 
night and traverse lake ontario tuesday. the ridge will begin to 
exit east tuesday night before a cold front sweeps southeastward 
across the lake wednesday through wednesday night. a 30.1 inch high 
will build across the great lakes thursday.
