waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.4 inch low over the upper great lakes this morning 
will track into ontario today, while pushing a warm front across the 
lake. the low will then continue northeast to james bay tonight 
sending a cold front across the lake. an inverted trough averaging 
29.7 inches is expected across the lower great lakes wednesday 
through wednesday night. the trough/low will track to the canadian 
maritimes, while also elongating south along the coast of new 
england thursday through friday. the remnants of the sfc low will 
then retrograde northwest to near james bay as a 29.5 inch low 
tracks across the se u.s. and out to sea from the delmarva on 
saturday.
