1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a pre-frontal trough will cross the lower great lakes 
today, followed by a weak cold front tonight. a 30.2 inch high will 
then build from the upper great lakes friday to the lower great 
lakes saturday before drifting off the new england coast sunday. a 
weak frontal boundary is then forecast to stall just north of the 
lake sunday night through tuesday.
