waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.
.synopsis...a 29.4 inch low will send a cold through the lower lakes
today. following the passage of the front, a 29.9 inch high which will
build across the region through monday, then exit off to our
northeast tuesday while weakening to 29.8 inches. a 29.4 inch low
will then track north of the lake on wednesday, with its trailing
cold front approaching the lake late in the day on wednesday. a
second 29.4 inch surface low will pass across the upper great lakes
thursday, with a warm front, followed by a cold front to sweep
across the lake throughout the day.
