a strong 30.6 inch high pressure traverses the great lakes today,
reaching new england by wednesday afternoon. meanwhile, a 29.5 inch
low organizes along the montana/saskatchewan border today, moving
over the dakotas tonight before moving north of the lake wednesday
night through thursday morning. high pressure of 30.4 inches then
moves over the upper great lakes on friday, eventually building to
30.5 inches over the lower great lakes on saturday. on sunday, low
pressure develops in the lee of the northern rockies while the 30.5
inch high pushes off of the eastern seaboard into the atlantic.
