highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...

a 29.8 inch trough is slowly exiting eastern lake superior this 
afternoon, and will be followed by height rises tonight as a ridge 
builds to 30.2 inches into tuesday. the ridging then gives way to 
pressure falls into the middle of the week as a 29.1 inch low lifts 
off of the central rockies and into the upper midwest by wednesday, 
weakening to 29.2 inches as it does so. this brings troughing of at 
least 29.6 inches over the lake by wednesday afternoon before weak 
ridging moves over at 29.9 inches on thursday. a colorado low then 
moves through the central plains on thursday before lifting towards 
the straits at 29.5 inches on friday, weakening as it moves into 
ontario friday evening.

winds to 50 knots late. snow likely with pockets of freezing rain
