a 29.9 inch clipper low over northwest minnesota this morning digs
along the wisconsin/u.p. border by this afternoon before moving
through lower michigan towards the st. lawrence seaway tonight into
thursday. as the clipper leaves the upper midwest, expect weak 30.0
inch ridging to return to lake superior on thursday, building to
30.1 inches by friday morning and remaining that way into saturday
to potentially even sunday. meanwhile late this weekend, a 29.2 inch
low lifts from the rockies towards the northern plains and canadian
prairies.
