These guys are relatively fast (some of them post GPS tracks online). On the Infinity 76, they have posted speeds above 20 knots, which is a few knots faster than most foilers on this foil. That speed is pretty similar to what a typical freerider or wave sailor would do in the same conditions.
They are also using the Infinity 65 and smaller boards now, which should be good for a few more knots.
But the video probably is accelerated in parts. |

You don't get hurt when you get hooked in and launched at full speed.
Speed of rec windsurfing.
Get launched at full speed, you skip/bounce over the water while slinging yourself around the rig. You go..."wow, that hurt". |
