Got myself a nice session at San Luis Sat. Saw one kiter on the forebay and one windsurfer. No need for weed fin on my FSW + 4.7m, but used weed fin on my slalom board with 7.1m

I have kind of stopped reporting on this every time I go .
Since there isn't that much interest.
Also it seem the 152 Caltrans sensor is now fixed and reports the right
direction and magnitude . I was able to establish it belonged to caltrans
with the Windy app and finally got to some one I could report it to in
Sacramento .
Might be good tomorrow according to the charts.
Thanks for your report. |

Not more than 4 at a time a lot of the usual people have dropped out .
There used to be up to a dozen a couple of years ago.
Mostly old timers like me that haven't gone to Foiling.
The lake hasn't had a lot of other visitors either even empty on Labor Day.
No fishermen this year or very few.
Just about to head out now .
September had been a lot better this year things stopped in mid August
last year .
Climate change has reeked havoc on my ability to see more that a couple
days out I used to be able to see a couple of week out .
Mike Godsey said the same . The Bay Area patterns are not what they used
to be in the 90's
San Luis Res report for 9/20/2023
Put up a 5.3 took on run on it and went to 4.7 stayed on that all afternoon.
Fog all the way to Pacheco pass and smoke haze was very present at the lake
and going out into the valley .
Used a regular wave fin no weed problems. |
