Look, Iso if you want to be an "originalist", fine and dandy. But, what "arms" existed at the time the 2nd Amendment was drafted? Flintlocks? The Constitution says nothing about automatic or semi-automatic weapons. Therefore there is no right to possess them. Bye Felicia.

Iso is a good little, non-thinking conservative. He will repeat the talking points he hears on Fox news without any deeper thinking. Here is the actual wording of the 14th amendment section in question:

No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.


In this debate, the Ninth amendment is even more important:

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.



Alito, who is an angry hack, wrote the right to privacy and control of your body right out of law.

Craig, I think that we can agree that there is an absence of female voices here.

One has to wonder what women really think in this country.

I'm hoping that they find the strength to turn the tide against them.
