Wind was WNW 20-29, 8am today, Swell should build as tide goes down and wind swings around to W or SW. I'll do a wave-check around noon and try to update here. |

I sailed solo just to the South of HN (from the beach on the southern side of the entrance to the Westport River) from about 1:30 to 2:30 on Sunday. Was way overpowered on a 4.2. Antoine, on a 4.7, is in animal, must have been hitting the weights this winter! Mostly small waves, with the exception of one chest high wave that made for a few nice turns. Sailed at PBay today, trying to hold down the 5.2 in the gusts made for some exciting moments! |
