Anyone interested in seeing some outrageous iceboard sailing, go to Lake Wequaquet in Hyannis this weekend!
Ice is what we call "Hollywood Ice" grade 10 ....wicked smooth black ice.
Winds are not that great for Sat & Sunday, but Monday looks like a GPS speed event for sure!

Very Happy

Temps on this ice are OK, because its so clear & black.
Ice is about 6" thick, also good for this type.
I expect a film of water to develop, but runners won't mush out, and will grip quite well.

WX for Sunday & Monday has gone to sh*t....rain & snow expected.

So we will only be there on Saturday.

Best I can do is let you see what it is I have.
I don't have time to make runners, trucks and especially sails!
I have been a craftsman at large for some time now!

Come to the ice and check out all the stuff we got. Bring your tape measure and camera, ask lots of questions.

Very Happy

That's actually pretty good. I'm going to have to get a new laptop to see it right, though. I went skating today at the Rockledge Iceplex in Florida. They make a great surface, and I had most of it to myself. Some ice is better than none.

What happened to your original laptop, Brucie? Did mom toss it off the balcony? Or is the old one so loaded with porn-borne viruses that it won't function?

You drove 60 miles to go skating? That's like going from East Falmouth to Boston for a little skating. And you were alone because everybody bailed out when they saw you. Parents protected their children, teenagers escaped to safety, and adults didn't want to be near a disaster in the making.

Where were the other alter egos such as Speedysailor, Swiftsailor and bigbuoy? Didn’t they go with you?

Also per your last post I thought that you were going to put all of these personal stories on your new facebook page and not here. Was that just made-up to try to confuse us??

What’s up with that?

Well, I went out and bought a new laptop today. It was a hassle getting it up and running on my network, but this video made the expense very much worth the while. I loved it, JB, plain and simple. You can screw my gal anytime.
