  the wolf river near shiocton.
* until tuesday evening...or until the warning is cancelled.
* at 7:30 am monday the stage was 11.1 feet. 
* flood stage is 11.0 feet. 
* forecast...the river will continue to fall to below flood stage  
  this afternoon or tonight.
* at 11.0 feet...which is flood stage...there is minor flooding in 
  the shiocton area including the city park.

...the flood advisory continues for the following rivers in southwest
lower michigan...

  maple river at maple rapids affecting clinton county
  pere marquette river near scottville affecting mason county
  muskegon river at evart affecting osceola county
  muskegon river near croton affecting newaygo county

.the current weather is dominated by a slow moving frontal boundary.
this weather system will produce rainfall amounts generally one
quarter of an inch or less. the extended outlook is for dry
conditions for much of the week before the next chance of rain moves
in late thursday. the following forecast is based on observed and
forecast 24 hour precipitation

precautionary/preparedness actions...

safety message...caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

a flood advisory means minor flooding is possible and rivers are 
forecast to exceed bankfull.  if you are in the advisory area remain 
alert to possible flooding... or the possibility of the advisory 
being upgraded to a warning. report observed flooding to local 
emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this 
information on to the national weather service.

* at  3:15 am monday the stage was 13.2 feet. 
* flood stage is 13.0 feet. 
* minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river will continue rising to near 13.4 feet by 
  tomorrow early afternoon then begin falling.
* impact...at 13.3 feet...there is minor flooding in berlin and 
  downstream in scotts park in omro.
