low pressure 29.40 inches continues moving east across the
northern great lakes today, with the trailing cold front exiting
the region by this afternoon. the low will lift north into quebec,
dragging another cold front across lake erie on thursday. a
trough averaging 30.10 inches persists across the lake on friday
before high pressure 30.20 inches builds towards the eastern great
lakes friday night into saturday.

is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.
.synopsis...
low pressure of 29.4 inches is slowly moving east across lake
superior. isolated gales are possible in the northern third of the
lake through this morning, but are not expected to be widespread.
as the low progresses east today, west to northwest gales will
develop across the southern half of the lake behind a cold front.
gales will continue through wednesday afternoon, before winds
gradually weaken wednesday evening.
lighter winds are expected for the end of the week as high
pressure builds in from the northern great plains.
