waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...
a trough averaging 29.80 inches will impact lake erie through 
monday as the parent low of 29.70 inches wobbles east-northeastward
from southern illinois to near central pennsylvania. behind the 
low and trough, a ridge averaging 30.00 inches should build from 
the upper midwest monday night through tuesday and then begin to 
exit eastward by wednesday. a warm front should drift northeastward
across lake erie wednesday night through thursday morning and a 
cold front should sweep eastward across the lake thursday evening 
through friday morning as a low of 29.80 inches wobbles 
east-northeastward from the upper midwest to southern quebec. 
behind the cold front, a ridge averaging 30.10 inches should build
from the upper midwest through the remainder of this friday.
