waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.2 inch low will deepen to 29.0 inches as it slides 
along the southern nova scotia coastline this evening and overnight. 
a 30.3 inch area of high pressure over the mid mississippi valley 
this evening, will slowly move across the ohio valley thursday and 
eventually to the carolinas on friday. meanwhile, a 29.7 inch area 
of low pressure over central quebec friday will move southeast 
across new england saturday and off the coast saturday night. a 30.3 
inch high will build southeast into the ottawa valley saturday, then 
into new england sunday. following a weak cold frontal passage 
sunday night, another area of high pressure will build across the 
lake monday, averaging 30.2 inches.
