waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.synopsis...

low pressure around 29.3 inches in western ontario is bringing
continued southwest winds through tonight. expecting gale force
gusts in the northern third, with gusts around 25 kt in the
southern two thirds. a line of thunderstorms will push across the
lake into early saturday morning along a developing front.
isolated gusty, erratic winds are possible underneath
thunderstorms. winds turn northwesterly saturday as the front 
stalls south of lake michigan. another area of low pressure 
around 29.2 inches is forecast to develop over the plains on
sunday, lifting into the upper midwest into the start of next 
week. this will bring increasing southerly winds and additional 
shower and thunderstorm potential through monday night/tuesday. 
then high pressure looks to build in midweek behind the early 
week low pressure system.
