is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.
.synopsis...
a stationary front will remains stalled the middle portion of the
lake. it will slowly sink south to the southern end of the lake
by noon today. while the front will be departing, light winds will
support continued dense fog potential through tonight. marine
dense fog advisory is now in effect until 7 am friday morning.
winds will become light and variable briefly tonight as a weak
ridge passes over the lake tonight, with winds then becoming
southerly and breezy friday ahead of low pressure of 29.6 inches
approaching from the west. gusty northwest winds then return
following a cold front friday night. thunderstorms are possible
friday evening into saturday morning. some storms could be strong
to severe, with gusty winds and large hail being the primary
concerns.
