Cedar Point YC Overview

This site is located on the Cedar Point Yacht Club and provided free by the club. This is not a Weatherflow sensor and is maintained by the Club itself. Please support the club and be sure to thank them for allowing us to include the data.

While the Club property is private and launching by non-Club members is not allowed, there is a good public launch at Compo Beach on the point on the opposite side of the harbor. Wind directions from Northeast clockwise to Northwest all work at Compo. Only caution is that there is a hefty parking fee for non-residents.

Data courtesy of a private weather station via Weather Underground. The sensor is located on top of the Club at about 50 feet off the water so while readings may be a bit high, there is good exposure to all directions with no direction being "blocked".
