for waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on lake ontario
waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.
.synopsis...a weak front stalled just south of the lake
this morning will lift slightly back northward as a 30.2 inch
surface low advances eastward along the front. this low, traveling
south of the lake, will then carry the front southeast of the lake
this evening. a 30.4 inch high will then build from northwest
ontario province thursday night to southern quebec by saturday
morning before moving off the new england coast by sunday while
weakening to 30.2 inches. another 30.4 inch high will then build
from northwest ontario province sunday to western quebec monday.
meanwhile, a 29.8 inch low will move into the lower ohio valley by
monday.
