for waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on lake ontario
waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.
.synopsis...a 30.2 inch high draped across the central and eastern
great lakes will give way to another surface low that will deepen
to 29.6 inches while pushing from the upper great lakes and ohio
valley to lower michigan today, then to southern ontario tonight and
southern quebec sunday. in the process, this low will swing an
initial cold front across the lake tonight, followed by a secondary
cold front on sunday. a 30.4 inch high building over the southeast
will then ridge north across the lake monday into tuesday, before a
29.2 inch low pushes across ontario and quebec later tuesday into
wednesday.

increasing to 35 knot gales after midnight. rain in the evening,
then a chance of rain showers after midnight. waves 3 to 6 feet
building to 11 to 15 feet. waves occasionally around 19 feet.

snow showers in the morning, then lake effect snow showers likely
