I live in Manhattan and am planning to take a long weekend to windsurf along the coast. Would appreciate suggestions on where, between NJ to RI, can I sail and rent good gears at the same time. Thanks. |

Theres ome rental shops (and good sailing bays) around Bay Head, NJ. A little further to the south on LBI is island Surf and Sail. Also great bay and ocen sailing there. |

I live in Hoboken. If the forecast is for a SW wind I head to Lakes Bay (West Atlantic City).
check out the wind at Lakes Bay on Friday 10th August
Extreme Windsurfing are open every day for rentals etc.

How about in Manhattan? Anyone ever windsurfed on Hudson in NYC? Or East River? There are a couple of public docks to launch from. |

Ever heard of Plum Beach. Brooklyn, Queen, Who knows. Its good sailing close. If you want to go far, try Maui.
Good luck and look at all the i windsurf spots or create a new one. |
