San Luis 2023

On the water a 1pm with 5.7 it was good for about and hour
then dropped off and never came back.
Weed patch forming in the center water level was about
average.

July 3rd
At 1pm used a 6.2 as wind was dropping while I rigged.
Temp 90 degrees and weeds are starting to show mostly as slick
spots but they are everywhere no problem with a weed find though.
Nobody else there today not even very many fishermen or familys.
90 degrees so I wore the short Johns and carried a Camel back.
Wind was much stronger on the mediros side than the North Side .
It might be windy again on the 4th.

Not as windy as the graph says and gusty today 7/6/2023
Arrived a 11:45 one other guy there .
Dropping as I was rigging so rigged a 5.7
Up and Down it took off around 3:30 then the 5.7 was almost
to much in the sharp gusts.
A few slick patches showing.

Water level higher than last time weed slicks not showing.
Rigged a 5.3 to start then went to a 5.7
Gusty and up and down.
I was the only one there windsurfing not
hardly any fisherman or family's either.

Larry said it was 100 degrees when he drove up at 2 pm
First on 6.2 then 5.7
The weeds are here and damping the chop.
The wind was fairly even compared to what it has been .
You could almost not wear a wet suit .
Water level was pretty low amplifying the weed situation.

Used a 5.7 all afternoon more consistent around noon to 2 pm then up and down.
Weed situation better than last time as the water level was high.
Me and Larry later Kurt showed up and for swing shift Issac.
Could be more intense tommrow.

Water Level super high a 224 no weeds visible on surface.
Put up a 6.2 at 12:30 up and down till finally overpowered
around 3:30 pm .
Water past tree.
I accumulated no weeds on my boom today .
Just me and Larry there.
Could be windy again tomorrow according to the graphs.

Put up a 5.7 and hung on to it all afternoon.
Really Gusty .
