Really enjoy my 2019 Honda Odyssey. A passenger can ride in right front seat while extra long stuff like 350cm Kona OD fits on its side between the two front seats, the stern supported by the console & the dashboard, with a towel or foam rubber section protecting the dashboard. The Kona bow is as near to the left rear of the van as I can get it. The stern on the dash is low enough I can look over it to see the right side outside mirror, can also use the center rearview mirror. All of the above is with the second row seats removed and the rearmost seats stowed in the floor. Would have plenty of room next to the Kona for a 9.0 & a two piece 490.

Cool. Never thought of putting the Kona in that way.

I'm looking to buy a new minivan and it seems they all now have non-removable center consoles in the front. I need the space between the front seats to fit a 9.0 sail, or whatever I have that is long. It seems that minivans have lost the versatility they once had with the removable console like my Dodge Grand Caravan.

my 2017 Pacifica has a non-removable console but the console has a hole so I can pass through 3 (and maybe 4?) 2x4x10s. I wonder if you could pass through the whole. I don't know how long is that 9 m sail but behind the console you have around 2.5 m so I expect very little of the sail will go through that opening.

See how this works, Coach? "I, me, we, Willy, Del, Chandler, etc." post positive, relevant ideas for the OP to consider. It's valid in just about all aspects of our lives and careers.
