No more Tuttle box. Am I missing something? Slingshot doesn’t offer any carbon fiber masts that work with this board. Not going back to aluminum. |

The adjustable foil track is the only way to go for a bunch of reasons.
The rumor is Sling Shot will release the new carbon windsurf foils in the next few weeks. But we heard that before.. |

Why not shim the stabilizer and leave the mast position alone? |

Because the more angle from shim or otherwise, the more instability as speed varies. |

100% in agreement. I am done with fixed mast position boards. |

Last year I switched to a GW 101 and Moses foils. I was getting my bell rung way too often on SS aluminum due to unexpected cavitation. I would rather avoid traumatic brain injury at the cost of an adjustable mast track. |

So, Moses is the cure?
Are you saying Slingshot is the culprit?
I do recall a few SS riders who foil ok. |

Sorry wrong copy.
Could be operator error. My original question - why put out a board line where you don’t have the choice? |

Everyone says their newest incarnation is the best ever.
Could it be that THEY THEMSELVES are getting better, so new gear SEEMS better?
Myself, I windsurf 4 days a week on 1999 or older gear. That 20+ year old stuff makes me do just fine, and works better than I do.
My 2018 Naish foiling gear works WAAAY better than I can ever foil.
Maybe you should contact Slingshot? |
