|

Can anyone point me to an official policy regarding mandatory quarantines for anyone flying into LAX? Sign a form? No big deal. Promise to quarantine after returning home? Pretty much there already except for short, N95-masked, medical appointments and occasional trips to Home Depot at 7 AM.
Related question: Is LAX still the most crowded venue I've ever seen, as it was pre-covid?
I'm not going to sit in LA for 10-14 days or rub elbows with my 1000 closest new friends just to oblige my oncologist's advice to get a scan available only in LA. |

I don't know any details about LA. But, I would contact the cancer center to see what sort of protocols they recommend for someone with high Covid risks to see if they can provide you the information.
I don't know how your facility deals with this issue. But, a friend of mine has kidney failure and needed to go to Mayo in Arizona. They had available a person who specialized in knowing these details for her visit.
Hopefully, someone has more direct experience here. Best of luck. |

Or both?
In many states, any medical procedure that can be scheduled, from scans to chemotherapy, are deemed non-essential. |

I will do that. The facility is UCLA.
I've always been astounded by the Mayo Clinic's facilitation of visits and how easy it is to obtain their services. If they offered this new scan, I could get it there with a phone call.
