Has been a great winter season thus far. Here is some footage I took from Matunuck, RI this past Saturday.

10-4 on that!!!

I remember the days I would go out this time of year. Air + Water temperature combined must be > 100 F.

Now I can't even think about putting on a wetsuit below > 130.

Kudos.

P.S. The worse part of the day was always getting out of the wetsuit. It ALMOST took the smile off your face Laughing Laughing Laughing

Got one!

I'm just not as resistant to the cold as I used to be. Sad but true. I also have had a hard time in extreme heat ( episode of Supra Ventricular Tachycardia)'
I've had all kinds of test done to try to get it figured out, still more tests to come.
I figured I'm just getting old. Not everyone ages the same.

"Dry suit = sinker"?
I've had to deflate mine (many since 1982) to avoid bobbing like a cork.

Better to bob like a cork than to rip, fill with water and sink like a rock!

My best suit was a custom fitted BodyGlove 5/4 which worked well for the air/water >100F along with hood, gloves and boots.

I guess my tolerance has changed. I feel it takes too long to get my body core temp back up.

Looking good out there, Lars! Was a great day and a great time! I had some of my most epic crashes that day.

DrWind: in addition to looking good in your windsurfing, you have excellent taste in music.
