isobars, you must have forgotten that a free press has been established and duly recognized in the US Constitution, and the fact that they play an absolutely critical role in our republic. That's a big reason why we are free as Americans and remain able to voice our opinions and speak the truth. It's telling that you sided with Donald Trump in trying to undermine a free press by regularly denigrating it as "fake news".

Nothing says "Thanks for your service", more than being called a criminal. Happy Veteran's Day!

A letter sent Nov. 5 on behalf of President Donald Trump's reelection campaign to Attorney General William Barr alleges that 3,062 voters who do not live in the state of Nevada "improperly cast" absentee ballots in the 2020 election.

But the list that accompanies the letter of those accused of "criminal voter fraud" contains hundreds of overseas military post office boxes and more than 1,000 locations where military personnel are stationed, such as Minot, North Dakota; Edwards and Fort Irwin, California; Hill Air Force Base, Utah; Carlisle, Pennsylvania; and Yuma, Arizona...To at least one military spouse whose residences of Henderson, Nevada, and Davis, California, are listed -- with their specific nine-digit ZIP codes (exact addresses are not included) -- finding herself and her husband, an Air Force major, on the list was "shocking." "To see my integrity challenged, along with other members of the military to be challenged in this way, it is a shock. And to be potentially disenfranchised because of these actions, that's not OK," said Amy Rose, who votes absentee and claims Henderson as her home while the couple is stationed in California.

I should add that any first term U.S. president, right up to the moment he or his successor is sworn in, bears a powerful obligation to the nation and to the world to assess and fix any significantly broken U.S. election process. If even a small percentage of the hard evidence, sworn affidavits, credible claims, admitted crimes, and video support thereof already presented or forthcoming pertaining to this election are judged -- by the courts, not by Joy Behar -- to be valid, it's Trump's obligation (and that of whomever is sworn in as POTUS next January) to fix the system. Whether that assuages Trump's ego matters only to him; whether repairing the system saves the world matters to the other 8 billion people dependent to varying degrees on a viable, credible, efficient U.S. electoral process.

Besides all that and in this particular election, I'd infinitely prefer a leader who fights for the country (whether it benefits him personally or not) rather than some career politician who hides in his basement and relies on his media to carry his water after spending four years pouring boiling oil on his opponent.

You friggen low to no level non-thinker he set up a ultra partisan panel to investigate after he did not receive the majority of votes in 2016. It was his top partisan people including the hack from Kansas and they allowed no dem to be part of this KGB group and they suddenly disbanded and never were able to show us any vote fraud. He had his 4 years to show it and deal with it, Bush did the same with his rovian in-justice department placing voter fraud caes as equal to terrorist case mandate to his prosecutors. And what they found a few dozen and note again the guy in the trump rally who sucker punched the black guy from behind when he was leaving was a convicted defense contractor employee who voted in 2 states. That is the only proven case and he was a trump man.

did a quick glance at the georgia numbers and it certainly does appear that the counties with 1% left to tally are the largest ones whith a huge majority that have been Biden votes. Lots of trump counties in the 99% are but these are all such small ones 5000 people that it would be 10 to 200 votes differential types. Where the Biden mega areas 300k plus will be 100s to thousands for biden differentials. So looks like those numbers in GA are pretty solid.

Stop the Stupidity!

A postal worker whose allegation of ballot-tampering was at the center of Republican efforts to challenge the outcome of the presidential election has admitted to investigators that Project Veritas actually penned the affidavit laying out his claims.

When he was asked if he wanted to stick with his claim about ballot-tampering, Hopkins said, “At this point? No.” He said his allegation had stemmed from “assumptions” he made after overhearing tidbits of staffers’ conversations in the mail facility. Hopkins told investigators not only that his affidavit was written by Project Veritas but that he wasn’t even entirely sure of what the group had included in it because he was in “so much shock I wasn’t paying that much attention to what they were telling me.” A spokesman for Project Veritas acknowledged having a hand in the affidavit but insisted that the “affidavit was drafted with Mr. Hopkins’ input and requested revisions,” according to the Post.

More "winning"!

Republican President Donald Trump's new federal lawsuit seeking to delay certification of Michigan election results includes a false claim that a dead person cast a ballot, according to the Department of State.

The complaint, which alleges dozens of improprieties during absentee ballot counting in Detroit, includes an affidavit from Anita Chase of Warren, who claimed she reviewed state records showing her deceased son had cast ballots in 2016 and 2020.

It’s the only assertion of a dead voter in the lawsuit, which was announced Tuesday and officially filed Wednesday in federal court. The Trump campaign submitted affidavits from more than 100 Detroit election challengers, claiming they were denied a “meaningful opportunity” to review ballot tabulation.

Rather than a dead voter, though, it appears to be a case of mistaken identity caused by confusion over "common names," said Tracy Wimmer, a spokesperson for Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson's office.

No such thing as Hammer and Scorecard, although the guy who presented this got some $ from the CIA for bogus claims and is an ex partner of Michael Milliken, the junk bond king. Here are links to Policito and to the REAL USA government web page. Currently run by republicans, no less.

The biggest risk to democracy here is a refusal by the loser to accept the legit result. Got loved ones on both sides of the fence and they all know who won! Really, this is how dictators get started.

You have it backwards, and your bias is showing. Finding and permanently resolving any significant election process problems have far greater and far more important long-term benefits than who sits in the White House for the next four years (presuming that the next four years maintain adequate checks and balances.) Dictators flourish when those checks and balances are erased.
