Right now there are 50 people -- that we know of -- cruising the iW forum. I've heard of only three of them. That's just one reason among many to consider them when posting or taking threads offline.
I posted this in the Windsurfing section (instead of the Off Topic section) because most of them are smart enough to avoid the latter. |

That's my point. Insisting that there's only one way to windsurf, taking discussions offline, attacking messengers rather than discussing the topic, aggressively confining discussions precisely to the topic's opening question rather than letting them breathe, etc. not only limit the transfer of information but often mislead people who are too shy or too smart to engage in the forum regularly or at all. i.e., we're not talking just to the OP and/or the Same Old Gang, but to a MUCH bigger and broader audience.
