I'm teaching (not professionally) this weekend at the Access. I don't go to the Delta a lot. We were there last weekend and my two students (daughter and her BF) did really well in waist to overhead water from 2:00 - dusk.
This weekend shows negative 0.11 tide at 2:40 p.m.
How does that translate at the Access/playpen area? Is that enough water? Or is it all sand no water? |

Where it was overhead will be waist deep so just walk out farther out. Shorter fins help for the play pen. It warms up this weekend and with lower tides may bring more crowds; be aware.

Are you teaching at the Access or at the County Park? The Playpen is at the County Park. The Access will be shallow only along the edges by the sandbagged entry area. |
