Has anyone compared the ghost whisperer 101 with the 683 wing to the hover glide Apollo 60 kite wing? I have been using the Apollo 60 kite wing for high wind windfoiling and it is really nice. |

Does the Apollo 60 fit on the 838 fuse? |

The 633 is a very popular kite foil at my beach. Looks pretty small for windsurfing considering how powered up I have to be to stay on a foil with the larger 683. |

one additional tip I was given re foiling jibes, especially for faster foils, as I progressed from the infinity 84 to 76 and now getting into the Moses 101 w/683 front wing: during the latter half of the turn particularly just before, during and after the sail flip and before the foot change, (if you are sail first jiber on the foil like me) is to rake the mast slightly forward or back to lower or raise the board pitch and thus altitude. This of course moves my weight slightly fore or aft and also allows me to focus my feet as they become switch stance on weighting to get the right amount of board roll/bank... really helped me as a heavier sailor make a higher percentage. like an airplane, the mast is the stick and the feet are the ailerons..... |

Seems 600 sq. cm. foils are not much different than 1220's
I made the change last month. 5 sessions in, then back to 1220 3 days ago. Almost no different in light wind foiling, maybe 2 more pumps for 2 mph more speed before rising up...balanced by noticeably less drag once up on foil.
But I weigh only 165 lbs ready to go.
Unfortunately, I only foil once for every 4 days of windsurfing, so I'm never fully dialed into foiling. |
