Not sure how many people have heard but Delta Windsports had been broken into recently. Not only did the thieves steel a lot of gear from the store but also an employee's care and many of his things in it. With the economy not doing well, they were struggling already. So if you can help in any way, please do. Donate, buy some gear or if you know who is responsible, let the police know. This shop has been around for such a long time and Everet, the owner has given so much to the wind and water loving community. Support your local wind sport store.

Hi Gang,

We are all really lucky to have a shop so close to one of the Bay Area's greatest kiting and windsurfing sites.

The people at Delta Windsports are great and support our sports as well as playing a critical role in maintaining access to this site. Do anything you can to support them during these difficult times.

This type of burglary is hard on any business so be quick to report any suspicious items for sale at launch sites or on the web.

The image below shows their location on your way to the launch sites.

If you have never sailed or kited Sherman you are missing a real Bay Area treat. Warm air and warm water and usually steady winds.

When I lived in California, i became familiar with Delta. Derrik the manager is one of the best , his association with ABK, Windsport , Windsurfing Now magazines and Great Guys international speak for themselves. I have used in person shops in Hood River, Outer Banks in addition to those in the Bay Area. Delta is a highly recommended shop, internet sales source.

Thank you to all who are supporting Delta Windsports. And to Mike & Friends for their posts as well. I hope this message has made it onto the I Kitesurf page. The majority of th gear that was stolen was kite gear so folks, be on the lookout. Let Delta know what you see out there. Thanks for helping to keep this wonderful shop and piece of history alive.
