Lots of people have been asking so here it is: Spring Swap at the Seal Beach Rigging area, aka River's End, will be Sunday April 5, 8 a.m. to Noon.
It's for board sports equipment of all kinds, including windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP and old-fashioned lay-down-and-paddle surfing.
A great place to find bargains, especially if you (or someone you know) are just learning.
There's no rules, no permit and no fees, although the city does charge for parking.
Come by with a cup of coffee and say hi to your old friends!

Well this is unfortunate....but with strict social-distancing rules in place, 200 people a day dying in the US due to COVID-19, and all Seal Beach parking lots and beaches closed there really is no choice but to cancel the Spring Swap, which was set for April 5.
Be well, all watermen, and try to find some way to get on the water (alone) despite the draconian anti-surf rules.
