New infections still at about 40,000 per day. New deaths at about 1000 per day. Stand by Proud Boys, I’m going to need you.

Of the flood of misinformation, conspiracy theories and falsehoods seeding the internet on the coronavirus, one common thread stands out: President Trump.

That is the conclusion of researchers at Cornell University who analyzed 38 million articles about the pandemic in English-language media around the world. Mentions of Mr. Trump made up nearly 38 percent of the overall “misinformation conversation,” making the president the largest driver of the “infodemic” — falsehoods involving the pandemic.

51,000 cases yesterday. Ticking up. How many less would there be if we had a president who not only wore a mask—but told other to?

Exactly!!!!! so hiding under your bed like a liberal clown only slows down the spread, it does not stop it.. If liberals had their way our economy would be destroyed, just as many people would die, far more people would die from the negative effects of a lockdown and much more......By the way moron , he is about the tenth world leader that has got the virus....

I'd like to remind you of the hypocrisy of the righties here. Some time ago, while supporting the administration's attempts to re-open schools without sufficient safety measures, mrgybe went on at great length about the pre-existing health problems of those who die of COVID. Age, weight, life style. Blame the victim--one of the favorite tactics of the selfish.

So now we have Trump infected with COVID. A man who has flaunted best medical practices, not merely for himself, but for the country. A man who is morbidly obese--about 40-50 pounds overweight. A man whose idea of exercise is strolling to a helicopter after exercising his fingers misspelling tweets. A man whose diet consists disproportionately of fast foods.

We know that such habits contribute to heart disease, but don't always cause it. Trump may survive COVID, despite his high risk habits. In that case, he will have won the genetic lottery--not have taken personal responsibility. I know this will matter to some former Trump voters, but a more typical response will more likely be what we've seen today from mad mad maddy.
