After National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn announced his resignation last week, President Trump offered a back-handed compliment to his departing adviser: “He may be a globalist, but I still like him.” Mick Mulvaney, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, chimed in with his own statement: “I never expected that the co-worker I would work closest, and best, with at the White House would be a ‘globalist.’”

Despite the seemingly joking use of the term “globalist” by Trump and Mulvaney, many were quick to point to the word’s unseemly past as an anti-Semitic slur, embraced in alt-right circles before spreading into broader political discourse. As the Anti-Defamation League’s Jonathan Greenblatt put it, “Where the term originates from is a reference to Jewish people who are seen as having allegiances not to their countries of origin like the United States, but to some global conspiracy.” Greenblatt said it’s “disturbing” when public officials “literally parrot this term which is rooted in prejudice.”

Even at the bottom of a whisky glass.

Whatever! This is ridiculous, the key phrase from the above is now highlighted... I should add " ..20 years ago". From about 2000 through 2019, "Globalism" clearly meant a MATERIAL departure from Nationalism. Whereas Communism/Socialism is less material and more philosophical.

Since the NWO overt takeover, even that definition is now obsolete!

Whatever it meant in the past, GLOBALISM now means in-your-face WORLD GOVERNMENT.

As I said, no evidence is needed. Russia is poised to invade Ukraine, Netanyahu is trying to stay out of jail, the Chinese are committing genocide in their western territories. All part of a plot for world government. Have another drink fool. Take some supplements. Pretend that 5 million people haven't died from Covid. Cash your check from your Russian handlers.

This is medical tyranny. A virus that has killed more than 800,000 in the United States and is projected to kill another 300,000. Compared to the flu or a Democratic plot to oust Trump by many on this site.

The truth? Laronde can’t handle the truth.

From the WSJ, under Herd Immunity Is Over—Long Live Superimmunity
The Omicron wave will leave most people with potent and durable protection against Covid.
By Allysia Finley Jan. 17, 2022

Forget about herd immunity. Covid-19 vaccines and prior infection don’t provide lasting protection against infection and transmission, especially with the Omicron variant. That makes it impossible for enough of the population to become immune to stop the virus from spreading. [However] Omicron will give much of the population what some scientists call “superimmunity”—stronger protection against new variants and even future coronaviruses. Normal life will be possible even as the virus continues to spread and mutate. Superimmunity won’t necessarily stop people from being infected or transmitting the virus. But most people who get infected, even with a more virulent variant, will experience mild or no symptoms.

<several wonky medical paragraphs snipped>

... vaccinated people who experienced breakthrough infections produced higher levels of antibodies that were up to 1,000% more effective than those generated two weeks after a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. The researchers described this as superimmunity.

... people who were infected with Omicron produced antibodies that were more than four times better at neutralizing the Delta variant ... boosters train the immune system against the same target ... [whereas] Omicron’s myriad mutations strengthen the immune response. To use an analogy, if you train at doing push-ups, you’ll get stronger—but not as strong as if you also did pull-ups.

A new study from the U.K.’s Imperial College found that people with pre-existing T-cells to non-spike proteins in common-cold coronaviruses were less likely to get infected with Covid-19. [Great. I'm apparently immune to colds.]

All of this suggests that infection with Omicron is likely to stimulate potent and durable protection against Covid-19—and potentially other coronaviruses—even if it mutates to become more virulent. As Omicron rapidly spreads, people who have been vaccinated or previously infected will develop superimmunity. Covid-19 will become a virus that causes cold- and sometimes flulike symptoms—annoying but rarely deadly or disruptive. One caveat is that older people generate weaker T-cell responses and memories to infections and vaccines. They’re likely to need annual booster shots. [Boo! Hiss! I'm old.] Omicron will end the pandemic by making Covid-19 endemic.

================

Also just out, from the CDC: "Full vaccination is up to 20 times more effective at preventing hospitalization for Covid-19 than immunity conferred by prior infection".

===========

We can find similar apparent discrepancies by the dozens at least every week, even via flip flops by the same sources. Bottom lines: There are at least 85.2 sides to the Covid story, and nobody -- especially anyone who claims s/he does or just belches out "I do! I do! Follow the settled science." -- has it all figured out. The devil is in the details, and who the hell has the time to examine all of them AND the unique expertise to reach THE correct answer? Sure as holy hell not Biden, Harris, Fauci, Mercola, or anyone in this group. Furthermore, what good would it do, given that Zuckerberg would censor any such result anyway because it wouldn't put any money in his pocket.

We might THINK that some world-class epidemiologist or virologist could, in a mere few thousand hours of homework, figure it all out (and accurately foretell the value of the Dow at 12:45 PM on May 13, 2023 while she was at it), but that's not going to happen. Until it does, calling people racist homophobic hypocritical factophobic orangutans is just stupid.

Oddly enough, science has come full circle since that post almost two years ago. Flu STILL poses a far more deadly threat than omicron to young people.

There's no fact that cannot be denied by a closed mind.

And a classic goal post move. Originally it was the first iteration of Covid, which was 20X more deadly than Flu, now its Omicron which is not deadly.
