A friend just asked me to post that he had a Luhr Jensen/Event Site parking pass stolen right out of his car this week. It sounds like other people have had passes stolen from their cars recently as well. Be alert and lock your cars. Scumbags are on the prowl. |

If that's a permanent or seasonal pass, display only a photocopy with this note on it: "Want the real thing? Just ask." |

When I picked up my ES pass, she reminded me it's like hanging a $100 bill from your mirror.
Yesterday I saw a convertible in the Event Site with the top down and their pass hanging from the mirror - wonder if it was stolen.
I heard about a friend last week who left his wallet and phone inside a sweatshirt, inside the locked fencing around the outrigger canoes. They were stolen, but he used Find My iPhone to track them to a homeless guy sleeping under cardboard nearby. (Second-hand story, I haven't asked my friend directly.)
I don't leave my flip flops on the grass like I always did - I walk barefoot across hot pavement from the car now. |
