The FBI, DOJ, need to explain to the American people what happened before the election LAST YEAR. There is overwhelming evidence that both agencies were playing politics and turning a blind eye to law and order.
We deserve better and need to make sure this is not how these agencies should be run. Does the truth scare the left???????????? yes it does.

Matty is determined to demonstrate that those who watch Fox know less than people who watch o news and read not at all. He has the facts of the FBIU's investigations completely wrong--but consistent with Trump spin.

The FBI was involved in investigating reports of crimes by both the Trump and Clinton campaigns. If they had followed normal protocols, they would have said nothing about either investigation until and unless they had information that was sufficient to convince the prosecutors to charge a crime. (I've been involved in an FBI investigation that eventually sent a political appointee to jail for five years. It took about 5 years.) Comey made a serious mistake in announcing and then clearning, and then re-investigating Clinton. Most reputable sources have concluded that Comey did that because he was afraid of leaks from the New York office of the FBI, frequently seen as a renegade office, or because they actually had leaked information about the investigation. In simple terms, the problem agents in the FBI are right wing conservatives who leak. Both Comey and Lynch made mistakes about the hand-off from the FBI to DOJ to see if there is a chargeable crime.

We know that Comey concluded Clinton's actions were careless but not criminal--because he said so. Here is an interesting article on the whole SNAFU, well researched and edited: https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2017/02/james-comey-fbi-director-letter

And their comment about Comey's conclusion:
Quote:

Into the vacuum created by Lynch’s refusal to either dismiss the tarmac incident or move out of the way stepped Jim Comey. That he would do so is not a surprise to anyone who knew him. On July 5, Comey held the press conference in which he announced that agents had found thousands of e-mails that contained government secrets, all of which had traveled unsecure, unclassified channels on Clinton’s private e-mail network. Nonetheless, he said, “we cannot find a case that would support bringing criminal charges,” in large part because they did not find intent, which is a critical element of most criminal cases.

Comey certainly knew that the career prosecutors, who had been working hand-in-glove with the F.B.I. agents, would agree with the decision. But he made it clear he hadn’t even informed the D.O.J., whose responsibility it is to decide whether to authorize an indictment, that he was holding a press conference. Lynch corroborated this, admitting that the D.O.J. had learned of the press conference only “right before.” Indeed, some at the D.O.J. turned to CNN to find out what Comey was saying.

Plenty of Comey’s longtime admirers were appalled that he had spoken at all, because by doing so he blew through several of the Justice Department’s long-standing policies. “It was an unprecedented public announcement by a non-prosecutor that there would be no prosecution,” says someone who once worked for Comey. The F.B.I. does not talk publicly about its investigations, and “it does not make prosecutorial decisions. Full stop.”

“[Comey] has said he did not consult with anyone at the D.O.J. beforehand ...

As the facts actually lay out, the e-mail scandal fell even further from a crime because not only was there no evidence of intent, nearly all the e-mails were not marked as confidential--something Comey did not make clear:

Quote:
Those close to the case were also shocked by what Comey didn’t say. For instance, he didn’t point out that the “classified” e-mails had not been marked that way when they were sent or received, and didn’t point out that all the e-mails were to people who work in government—not to outsiders who aren’t supposed to receive such information. “He gave a very skewed picture,” says one person involved in the case. “The goal has to be that people understand the decision, and it came out exactly the opposite.”

The Trump investigation had far more information about cooperation between the Trump campaign and Russian agents. There are reputedly thousands of e-mails between campaign participants and Russians, but clearly the most serious violation was the meeting attended by Kushner and Don Jr. where an offer to help with dirt on Hillary and relaxation of sanctions were both discussed. If true, and if sufficient information to successfully prosecute can be gathered, clearly a crime.

Yes indeed the FBI has agents that leak. But they leaked to damage Hillary--and kept silent to protect Trump.

Poor old ignorant Mac has no idea that Comeys words were changed so Hillary could not be charged. Comey is a scumbag and has blackened the eye of the FBI for years to come.

Ignorant—and deliberately so—matty just can’t or won’t read. By the numbers.

1. Just two of the more than 30,000 e-mails were marked confidential—the lowest classification. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2016/jul/06/hillary-clinton/fbi-findings-tear-holes-hillary-clintons-email-def/. And in reality there was nothing in those two e-mails of any real consequence. Not remotely a crime. If something isn’t marked as top secret, and it is being exchanged by government officials with security clearances, there’s no evidence at all of gross negligence.

(Note, I think Hillary’s use of a private server was a case of bad judgement. Not as bad as bragging about grabbing women by the pussy, or money laundering, and not different from what two Secretaries of State under Bush did—but not a good idea.)

2. As I told you, and as noted in the article I gave you that you couldn’t read, right wing FBI agents in the New York District leak like crazy. Some cops, usually right wingers, think they have made a case—but can’t pursuade a DA. Some of the work for the FBI and leak.

Once again, matty is nothing but a hate-filled liar.
