Hi Winddoggie,
Great find beyond the cool and attentive osprey. The AM ripples on the water will help me visualize the Larkspur eddy caused by NW flow aloft over the Marin coast range that foretells the sudden die off of the Pt. Isabel and Berkeley winds mid afternoon.
Also helps with the marine layer depth and curving.

When I viewed the live cam, the two adult Ospreys were calmly sharing a fish between them. No doubt, they're looking to the future. Pretty cool that we get to share in their experience.

Actually It felt a little creepy watching them - attempted mating. (eggs later I suppose)
But then again the wind looks good from up there- better than a sensor?. Could be on my big gear for sure with those ripples happening.

If my poor eyesight didn't fool me, yesterday the nest was unattended for a period of time and I saw one egg.

Yep, there is an egg and apparently more on the way. Hope the moderators don't remove this posting.

Tough night for the Osprey pair under serve wind/rain storm. Saw one bird still hung on to incubate around 8PM last night, then the signal went out. Hope they're OK.
