And this surprises you? I haven't watched a basketball game since they got us out of class in jr high school, but even I know who Bird is. Whaddaya expect from mac when somebody dares mention a white B-ball player? The whole world is about race to him, and he says everything he can to keep it that way. In print you honestly can't distinguish him from Al Sharpton.

Of course it was a team effort but Rick Barry was the series MVP in the biggest upset in NBA finals history. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdRAy7_g5Y0
The Bullets even tried to attack Barry to start a fight and get him ejected they were so desperate to get him out of the game.
The fight with Rick Sobers was in 76' and Barry didn't quit he led the team in points that day. |
