Well it looks like 14ft 2,300 pound Katharine has been sniffing out those pig farms on the West side of Pamlico Sound. Shocked

I guess after the Cape Cod seal meal pork is the next best thing?
She was a good girl up here this year treat her well NC and show here a little of that Southern Hospitality. Wink

She is a good girl. She spent late summer into early winter in all of Cape Cod waters and not a single bite out of any humans. Seals well different story. Laughing

Don't you think that even a shark has enough cognitive function that it might get bored of eating seal ?

Haha, I've been sailing almost everyday this week...... And THEN I saw this.... Doh!! Ain't nothing but a thang. I'm still more scared and aware of my surroundings while just walking down the street, especially now that everyone seems to be browsing facebook on their phones while driving............ Question

The tracker just connects the dots straight line. My guess is she exited the Hatters/Ocracoke inlet.
I never would have believed that a 14 Ft Great White would have done this if I had not filmed three of them inside an inlet on Cape Cod in October.

Thanks Jerry, I had NOT seen your video before, very impressive.

From my interest I remember than bull sharks will travel up rivers that have little ocean salt content. And the warden will come very close to shore.

I have seen dolphins in the sound, so I guess why not great whites.

Its apparent that the sharks dont read the same books as me.
