9 am: High tide which is the worst time for waves here.
Clean pretty wave on the South East side(wind directly offshore), suggesting underlying wrapping South or Southwest swell. 2-3 foot faces breaking ON the beach, useless for surfing or windsurfing.
On SouthWest side of Horseneck, 4-5 foot faces breaking ON the beach and occasionally further out, mixed with wind chop from the West. Wave period of underlying SoWest swell seems to be about 5 seconds. Won't be much fun until the tide goes out, cleaning up the waves, maybe 12:30. I expect to be on it by 1:30. |
