Yeah, I've seen that before at hookipa in the '80's. Telephone pole high, ultra light, he was uphauling between sets. Tearing it up, completely insane.
Saw him at the airport later that week, he was flying out somewhere, had a mountain of gear. He was signing autographs on the back of guys' t-shirts. |

The AWT has brought a lot of retired Pros back.
Naish, Josh Stone, and a host of great sailors have been out on the water in the last few days.
The PWA pro event was won by 20 year Morgan Noireaux from the AWT tour.
They broadcast live on the americanwindsurftour.com site. |

All I can add is that if you think you can wave-sail, c'mon and join the other AWT events in 2015. Santa Cruz, Pistol, PSC, Hatteras... they are a lot of fun. |

What were the final result or are we there yet.
I watched up to the last heat on Sunday when it was
between Ezzy and the Brazilian but didn't get the outcome.
The streaming seem to have went down.
I thought I read the event was going on to the 11th but that
can't be right? |

Its a bit confusing as the PWA and AWT are running at the same time. The AWT Pro division is done.
Morgan Norieux won the PWA first round.
But PWA has a double elimination system where the losers get a second chance. That is not complete yet. If they get good enough conditions some time from now until Nov 11 they will try and complete that and Morgan will have to sail off against the 'winner' of the double elimination. Might happen today if they get wind. |
