Yesterday, I surveyed things from the press box at lunchtime. In fifteen minutes, while a I froze my scrawny a$$ off, I did not see one of the 15 or so catch a decent wave. There was some guy with what appeared to be a red topped Angulo getting somewhat worked, but not too bad, by the north influenced swell. I saw another guy on what appeared to be a 8-?? green Exocet Fish catching a couple of ok-but not real good waves - Maybe Tracy or maybe the Kook??
Cape Cod's big wave surfer that has now degraded himself by using an oar. An 8-5 Starboard x 29" that he got from "Endless Summer" Mark. He said he was in the water since 7:30.
Almost all the scratchers were bobbing like buoys.
Size matters; but period does too.
Whoever they were, I thank them for the lunch break entertainment.

Windsurfing Sail Repair Man Geoff C. and I did it up for over an hour up at Red Roof this afternoon. Same northerly swell, somewhat mixed up; but enough long rides to be a bona fide session. We left at dusk
Morebeach Mike's forecast of ankle size action was way off the mark. The first couple of rides were close to chest high.

Ron that was outcast on the mean green slashing machine. I showed up a little later. Yes prone surfers were on the full soak cycle.
Team Green managed to score some good rides.
