The trip to Hana is much like Keanea, lush tropical rainforest, narrow road with lots of hairpin curves. Well worth it if you have a love for natural beauty and are into photography. There are some waterfalls along the way with pools for swimming in if you are into that. Going much past Hana, where route 330 ends and route 31 begins is most likely still prohibited by rental car companies. The road becomes dirt, very narrow with no guardrails in many spots and many steep drop offs to the ocean below. It's slow going,very different feel from the West Maui trip.
Hope the wind has returned! If it has'nt, there is so much else to see and do. Keep us posted!
